Returning from their honeymoon, Denise and Mark Poulton embarked on transforming their apartment into a dream home by mixing different periods and styles.

For Denise and Mark Poulton, starting their married life in an apartment in a prestigious Georgian terraced house in London has been perfect. They realised they didn't have the time to decorate their home themselves, as they were both working full time, so they decided to hire interior designer Catherine Henderson to help them. 'We are both perfectionists,' explains Denise, 'but neither of us had enough hours in the day to do the place up entirely on our own. Although we were committed to the whole project, we couldn't have done it without Catherine.'
